Formally situated in Above Bar, this elaborate illuminated clock and drinking fountain was bequeathed to the town of Southampton in 1889 by Mrs Henrietta Bellenden-Sayers and originally erected at the junction of New Road and Above Bar. In the 1930's it was deemed a traffic hazard and was carefully moved to it's current location at Bitterne Triangle in 1935.
