Situated on Town Quay as a memorial to Mary Ann Rogers, a stewardess on the SS Stella. The Stella was sailing from Southampton to Guernsey on the night of 30 March 1899 when it struck the Casquets reef and sunk. Ms Rogers gave up her lifejacket and her place in a lifeboat so that passengers could be saved.
